The upper recovery structure is fitted with a 4.2 m (13.8 ft) diamond-tread steel slide-back deck, a 30 kN (3-ton class) hydraulic cable puller with automatic braking, and an under-chassis wheel-lift cradle. This dual-transport setup enables operators to carry one casualty automobile on the lowered platform while securing a trailing vehicle with the rear tire-grid assembly.
