The body incorporates a 4.2 m (13.8 ft) diamond-tread steel tilt-slide platform, a 30 kN (3-ton rating) hydraulic pulling winch with positive cable lock, and a dedicated aft wheel-lift fork assembly. This one-drag-two configuration enables crews to tilt the platform smoothly to pavement grade for casualty car winching whilst hitching a second car via the aft tire-clamping yoke.
