Oils, treated water and inert process liquids usually move short distances - a vendor's yard to a workshop, one works to the next, a store to a housing estate - and on those runs a two-axle frame pays better than a heavy eight-legger: fewer wheel changes, lower fuel bills, smaller tolls, and an 18-tonne rating that still leaves 10.6 tonnes of freight. This 13.1 cubic metre FAW is built around that duty, with one driven axle and a tight turning envelope that suits narrow lanes and gateway aprons.
